Thanks to the Fab Four (Stephanie, Nasia, Donna, and Malcolm) who played in Faery Tale - you guys rocked
It has been a while since I last GMed (about a year) and I was nervous as hell. The game only lasted about an hour from memory, but I think everyone enjoyed themselves. The fairy wings may of had a hand in this. Feedback on what I could do to improve would be great.
From here I plan to re write the scenario - I made a bit of it up on the fly and want to get in down before I forget it. Then have a go a running Blue Rose. |

The general premise of the story was that a bunch of faeries from Brightwood, save Princess Joy from marrying evil Sir Grim - Knight of Spiders, by rescuing Jack from a dire fate at the top of a bean stalk.

That I didn't need to be so nervous, and that if you give players fairy wings they enjoy themselves.
Honestly, by knowing the story inside and out, I could quickly move to any point based on what the players decided to do.
Making sure that I had the scene in my head before I described it, and thinking of it as a panaramic view.
I know that I did rush through the story, and next time I would slow that down.
Sorry Morgue no photos, I was too worried about running the game to remember to hand over my camera. |
