I wonder if we could update the frontpage so that the most recent piece of news wasn't the "Palladium Crisis"; it gives the site a bit of an abandoned look.

The news sidebar does balance the frontpage stylistically, but if it's going to be there, I think it needs to be updated more often.

[Edit: The second option implicit above is that it could be replaced with something else]
