Hi all,
James P has kindly agreed to run a one off of the Savage Worlds of Solomon Kane. We need a couple more people for a 2-3 hour session on Sunday afternoon.
If you're interested PM me for more details! |

I know this is an old thread, but I have this book and have been studying it lately. I was curious if this game ever ran and how folks liked it? I would like to try this one out myself if the shiny hasn't worn off it. I'm more interested in Savage Worlds as a game system than the specific world of Soloman Kane. I'm thinking of picking up the Pulp SW stuff. _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Hey! This did go ahead and was good fun. If you were keen to run it for a one off or short term game I could be interested in playing. Depending on the setting you ended up using of course.
James P is the Savage World of Solomon Kane king! _________________ Planning: A pulp/steampunk LARP, a sci fi short run
Reading: not much

I like modern genre's / alternate histories the best. I would probably do a one shot of Solomon Kane as is to get a feel for the system. Unfortunately, I have 100 times more ability to be a player than a GM. I can GM, but the planning takes a lot out of me. I would have a tendency to play rapid advancing games with short themes. I like the idea of doing a Pulp SW game with inspiration from movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark or The Mummy. The era from about 1935 on. _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
