Hi All,

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks to everyone who came a long yesterday. It seemed that everyone was having a good time and if you have any suggestions or comments about how the day went I'd love to hear them. Feel free to PM me or post here.

I'll be posting some thoughts on the day over on my blog in a day or so and will put a link here for anyone interested.

Cheers,
Sophie

Yeah, thanks from me as well, had a great time and played some enjoyable games. Managed to play all new games for me.

I played in:
Zombie Cinema (2 hour session) - We came up with the situation of a cruise ship off the North African coast, good pace, great crowd and some nice tension, and the kids vs parents was fun. Have to say I love the Zombie Cinema system for a quick pick up game.

Wilderness of Mirrors (2 hour session) - We decided on a Edwardian spy romp, a fun adventure with a nice twist at the end. I liked the fact it wasn't a standard modern spy game. Of the 2, 2 hour games Zombie Cinema was my favourite, but would happily play this again.

Hot war (4 hour session) - We decided on Post apocolyptic "morals and personal development" style game. with the heroes (death squad) doing an anti insurgancy mission in Brixton. Def needed 4 hours for this (with character creation) and even that felt too short, but great game. I like the mechanics, with the relationships and agendas and the ability to develop and change due to experiences. This game I would really enjoy playing in a campaign with the right group.

Thanks Sophie for coming up with the idea and organising this and to all those that helped.

I had a great time. 3:16 was a hoot. BSG boardgame was very cool.

I have an idea for session/table organisation that would still allow for dynamic selection. But I'll let it cook in my head for a while.
