Hmm... looks to me like a failure. Two boons and comet, but also only 2 successes and 3 failures!

Oh, pregens? I was kinda looking forward to making up a character.
Be aware that if you're using the pre-gens from "day late, shilling short" they aren't starting characters from memory, so a hand crafted starting PC will be a little underpowered. _________________ Playing: Zombigeddon (D&D 4e), MONSTERPOCALYPSE!

As edited into my post, feel free to make a starting PC. The reason for pregens for people unaccustomed to the system is that it saves (considerable amounts of) time. If people want to make PCs before the session, that's cool by me.
Do you have any estimate as to how many advances the pregens have? _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

Cool, will do.
Looks like I misspoke. I thought I had read that they had a few advances, but looking again I think they are just starting characters. _________________ Playing: Zombigeddon (D&D 4e), MONSTERPOCALYPSE!

Cool. I think I have finalised my scenario idea for the evening. Using the Kapcon blurb system, it is:
Quote: | Reaper's Bounty
Facilitator: Luke Walker
An ragtag band of travellers, a madman, a nobleman and a forest full of factions collide at an abandoned inn on a dark and stormy night. Can anyone survive to see the dawn? And for those that do, will their sanity and conscience remain intact?
This scenario is designed as introduction to the world of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and its new Third Edition system that is suitable for both newcomers and old hats.
System: WFRP3e
System Knowledge: Not Needed
Number of Players: 4
Genre: Dark Fantasy
Genre Knowledge: Not Needed
Role-playing Knowledge: Preferred
Style: Character Driven, Balanced
Classification: PG13+
Scored: N |
It takes the setup and location from Whispers of the Dark (from Thousand Thrones), the plot from Pretty Things and the mechanics from A Day Late, A Shilling Short. _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

BTW we will meet at 8pm at Kapcon's main room before heading off to Jon's. Craig, I think you have Jon's address so we can meet you there.
I am grabbing dinner during the 4pm-5pm break so I should be ready to rock straight away. _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

It's just as easy for me to meet you at the main room at KapCon, so may as well meet you all there first.

No probs. That puts us back to 4 players which is still plenty. _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

I don't think any of us have played it before. It was released just before Xmas As for WFRP in general, think Cthulhu with swords and elves
I am happy for you to join us. I don't know you in person, but I think you know Dale, so he can recognise you.
Edit: Here a pretty good review of the game: http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/14/14664.phtml _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

Aye, Liam will be a fine addition to the crew, and I should be able to spot him unless he's wearing his disruptive pattern materials .
Get that man an Agitator!

Very sorry about bailing at the last minute guys. Was a full on Saturday, and it became apparent around 6pm that I wouldn't be able to make it and do the last furniture run (and that had to take priority while we had the trailer).
Hope the game was fun - I was really looking forward to it! _________________ Playing: Zombigeddon (D&D 4e), MONSTERPOCALYPSE!

Game was lots of fun. I ran it twice again on Sunday and learnt a lot. Can't say that I am sold on WFRP3e as a system. Some parts are awesome but the resource management side is shoddy to the point that it needs the GM to break it for it to work _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

How so? I'm keen on hearing your experiences with running it. I've only run the one session, but it worked really well for me.
