Don't I know it; two playtests down and I'm hoarse and bleary. Might need some duct tape to keep things from falling off during the 'con
On the plus side, My Little Sister really made some people suffer last night...

I would be much too frightened. After all, we're all living in the shadow of that great D&D Homlet colossus!
And Jon - where's my wrestling game?? |

Aha, perhaps John has collaborated on the 'Village of Hommlet' making it more Royal Rumble then deep character drama?
Will the game feature man-tan and 'steel' chair proficiency for Strikers? Will you be tearing your shirt off as a minor action?
(Edit) Sorry, as a 'once per encounter' action. Otherwise you'd run out of shirts. |

Not if you have the level 4 Magic Item - Everlasting Shirt (heroic tier). _________________ Playing: Doomstones (WFRP2e); Shades of Terra (Exalted: Dragonblooded)

That soon eh, I suppose I should finish my game off!
My problem is that since I've been doing actual research for the setting, I'm still trying to decide on which story idea is the most awesome. That being said, I've got a week off before Kapcon so will easily be able to get everything looking totally savvy and awesome by the end of the week
I would totally want to replay Homlet if I could play as a wrestler! BTW, I had awesome fun in the playtest so those of you who are down for it are in for a treat _________________ 'Whatever happens, happens...' |

HWF (Hommlet Wrestling Federation) would be cool. Lareth even has a wrestler's name "The Beautiful".
However, my D&D4e Mr Men game takes precedence. Mr Rush the Striker, Mr Tickle the Controller, Mr Noisy the Leader and Mr Strong + Mr Bump the Defenders.

Man, it went close to perfect! Despite the fates trying to ruin my playtest, and taking out players all over the place, I got the bare minimum to get going and it went exactly as you'd expect. Largely because it's just such a damn smooth adventure. I give some small credit to all the extra props and things I added to add to the atmosphere, which enabled me to focus on the action. I had a text this morning from one of the players saying he'd had the most vivid dreams last night about the game.
I liked it so much that I'm scheduling another 'playtest' next week. It's one of the few games I've run where I don't feel like I'm going to get scenario burn out. I plan to post a full review on Yog at some point 'cos the writers deserve some serious kudos. Stop by before or after my slot at Kapcon and I'll show you some of the stuff I added.
For any prospective players; I WILL NOT be paying for any more player therapy after My Little Sister has made you suffer.
