I didn't manage to make an announcement at KapCon, but I was wondering if there is interest in running Day of Games again this year in May?

Oh Yes!

I certainly would attend and have a great time.

Also if you needed help on the day, setting up or anything let me know.

From memory last year was awesome.

I'd be interested in seeing if I can find some flares and coming to join the drum-circle, or what have you... Wink

Groovy, Dale, I'll score you some totally shared narration and blow your mind.

Actually the idea of having Dale as a player in something like Burning Empires (with its competitive play) makes me pee my pants.

Competitive play, you say? Hmmm...

I would love to facilitate any experience that the commune decides they want to try.

Specifically I'll be ready to facilitate;

Piledrivers and Powerbombs, Don't Rest Your Head, Penny for Your Thoughts or Capes.

Will this Day of Games be of a similar format to the last?

The idea in Burning Empires is that story is forged through a competitive process between GM and player (and that's not PC and NPC, but out of game conflict). Its a full on experience that every GM should try (or be open to being micked as a GM lightweight).

Looks like a good list, thanks!

The format will be similar, I think people liked the different round lengths. But there will be more communication to begin with so there is a more defined list on offer each round. Much like Games on Demand did this year.

More info to come, once I actually think through it all.
