In simple... No...

What are you trying to accomplish?

Maybe I should have said this in the first place...

Anyway, I want to run a campaign with several different stories and different PCs that intertwine. The players have said that they'd perfer to keep the information private. I was wondering if there was a way to do this, that means that I don't have to relie on players not reading particular threads.

Not on here... I'd resort to Email or a Website with restricted areas that they have the password for. Thats what my mate Pat in Iceland does.

Or you could post threads here and just relie on the fact that your players are honest and trustworthy sorts.

Live Journal is good for this. You can make custom "Friends" lists as many as you like, even with one member, and set that on individual posts.

phpBB can support this but only administrators (not moderators) can do it. You would need a usergroup for your game's players then could restrict access to that group.
