Eeeexcellent...

I think I'd prefer a different system... with a greater spread between bouts of drinking!

I like the system where you pick a number, role a dice, then drink on that number. It cuts out the irrelevant stuff in between. Twisted Evil

Then why are you rolling a dice?

I guess location could be a factor... a lot of us don't bring transport with us. What time do buses usually run till?

Close to midnight on a Friday

Hamish could you pick me up a copy of wilderness of mirrors? Assuming the price isn't retarded.

The Y is okay, DragonsLair in town has several rooms and may be persuaded, Bentleys could be booked if you want to pay per drink.

But it may completely kill Saturday morning games...

I'm sure we could get dragons lair and its alcohol friendly I think.

I'm running a D&D3.5 game Sundays - using a bunch of those old modules I have lying around plus some other stuff. Coming up on the campaign's second birthday...

I've been running a fairly freeform Supers mini-campaign on Thursdays, for a break from fantasy and to occupy the remaining people who played in my Broken Kingdoms game at SAGA last year. That probably has two more sessions left, then I'm planning on running a little something based on the Neverwinter Nights campaign for SAGA this year.

I'm playing in a D&D3.0 game on intermittent Saturdays - two of the other players are 10 year olds, one is a second-generation gamer, it's their first game and the focus is on introducing them to gaming hopefully without them picking up too many bad habits. Mixed success so far.

I'd really like to be playing in something more substantial as well...

I presume BoD is going to be the usual weekend [pause] 6-8 July this year. I know the venue has been pencil-booked, and I saw a request go around the mailing list for GMs a while ago, but haven't heard anything else.

Yes. Assuming he has a copy at OrcCon. It should be $10. I don't imagine he'll raise the price on a 14 page book... Shocked

I thought the weekend after that was penciled in, 13th-15th of July. I hope it's that weekend or later, or it might be cutting it a bit fine for me to make it. *fingers-crossed*

To see who drinks? It's only fun if you can make other people drink.

Buckets is usually on the last weekend of University holidays.
As Uni begins its 2nd semester on July 16th, I strongly suspect the new committee will set it for Friday 13th (Gah), Sat 14th, Sunday 15th.
But thats an uninformed opinion ;)

I prefer Starcon - the drinking game.
Win a melee and take a drink. After an hour you can't walk anymore.

I prefer the game "Drink". On your turn you point to someone and say "Drink", and they have to. Then it's their turn.

Cheers
