A reminder for anyone who didn't get the email from the Chch-gamers mailing list - SAGA's AGM is going to be held on the evening of the 23rd of August (the last Thursday of term).

Anyone got anything they're planning on raising?

Well, I believe we're up in the money once our grant for Buckets comes through. The second barbecue for the year will be hosted sometime in the next term, although it might not be at the Y. The committee-elect for next year are:

President - Mark Berry
Secretary - Liam Connell
Treasurer - Matthew Harward
Publications Officer - Alan Downward
Quartermaster - Jan-Yves Ruzicka

James can post anything else of import, since he took the minutes.

Alan didn't want to be president again?

Looks like a good bunch of young people, which could help some continuation! Good on you guys.

So begins the Reign of Mark.

Wait...I'm not supposed to be like that am I?

While it is a bunch of new guys, at least we've got some of the experienced folks at arms reach if we really need them.

You and Jan have certainly seen the inner workings of BoD, so I think that puts you well on the path to being some of the experienced folk Smile

As far as the committee of a university club goes, there's more experience there than you might think! But as you say, most of us oldies are happy to help with suggestions at least. If there's one thing old folks are good at doing, it's talking about the good old days!

I decided that I had done two terms, and that it was time for new blood. Of cause since I stayed on the committee I will still be required to give input and advice as needed.
Also I am willing to publish almost anything, even if it is just a crazed rant about how D&D is improved by eating cheese during a session. So if you have an idea send it to me!
I have already got the cover art for the first OOC done, all I need now is some content.

No...but thanks for the idea. It may be stolen and used. There are a few new tech ideas in the works.
