Got to say Marcus the last 2 years I have really enjoyed ending my Kapcon with your games, they aren't really funny happy games (although there are funny moments) but they are so intense and you come out feeling like you have had a hard work out or a physical game.

Yes - I really try and do something a little different in my CotB games, but I want them to be emotional rollercoasters. Something I obviously achieve (yay me!).

Sorry I was a bit whacked this year so don't think I played up to scratch but I thought it was a really good group and I don't know if it was random or picked out but seemed like you had the perfect player for each of the other kids. (Juliet with the fairies, Ivan the loner/protector, James the one everyone likes, Fraser the seeker of knowledge and Claire with her lists).

Not at all - I quickly discovered that you are one of those great roleplayers I can throw any character and you'll run them with aplomb! That might be a warning for the future Razz

The group (in fact both of them) were better than anyone could have expected, especially as I was a little nervous with Claire and Juliet in the session (not having gamed with Juliet before and Claire having just been in my Esoterrorist game - which is just so 'standard' a roleplaying game). But they were unfounded.

I'm already tentatively awaiting a chance to write and run my third CotB game - although I may never reach the heights of the first two....

Yep, people are still reading them, particularly about the LARP as I am interested to know how each player got on. As far as I can tell people enjoyed the game, but like most things there were some flaws and areas that we could have done better in retrospect.
Either way, I am proud of the game we delivered.

Anyway, you mentioned that you could not find photos of you. There should be at least one if you follow the link below:
