My girl and I are keen to travel with the rest of the Wellington group. Would there be someone who knows all those Wellingtonians going and is coordinating travel plans?

Awesome to hear there'll be a decent portion of Wellingtonians about at the event, it gives me a better chance of seeing a familiar face.

@IdiotSavant; That's a bit off topic for this thread, I'll send you a PM with some details.

A Note on Campaign Games
All game produced by the writers of an existing campaign (Knightshade, Nexus, New Horizons, Requiem and Jade Empire) are completely standalone. None of them allow PCs from the campaign, and nor do they require any knowledge of the campaign's events in order to play. Because we expect a lot of people from out of town (we've already had 17 people from out of Auckland register) we want all our games to be accessible. It is best to think of the "campaign games" as one off theatreforms on the same themes as the main campaign.

The final game has been added to the Chimera 2010 line up, for Sunday morning:

A Dead Man's Chest
by Freeform Games
Two pirate crews descend upon the sleepy Caribbean island of Santo Oloroso to avenge the death of their former master Captain Flint,or to find and grab his treasure. Old enmities will surface, deals will be made and broken, and some folk will swing from the yard-arm while others receive the dreaded Black Spot, before these affairs are settled for good or ill. A live action pirate game to be played down on the beach. For costuming, think golden age of piracy, think "Pirates of the Caribbean"!

Cast List:
Character/Gender/Faction/Description
Captain 'Black' Jack McCracken/M/The Scurvy Knave/The dashing captain of the Scurvy Knave
Sawbonnes McGraw/E/The Scurvy Knave/The sarcastic but reliable ship's doctor
Quintus Swelter/E/The Scurvy Knave/The vain and sinister ship's cook
Tom/M/The Scurvy Knave/the helpful young ship's boy

Captain 'Saucy' Nancy Martin/F/The Fury/The bold and fiery captain of The Fury
Alice Tremain/F/The Fury/The Fury's shrewd and intellectual first mate
Blaise Richelieu/E/The Fury/The tempermental and passionate ship's cook

Sir Percival Stanforth/M/Colonial Forces/The steadfast and rather stuffy Governor of Jamaica
Elizabeth Stanforth/F/Colonial Forces/The Gorvernor's desirable (if demanding) elder daughter
Captian Hal Overy/M/Colonial Forces/The stubborn and blunt Royal Navy Captain

Hayapitl/E/Indians/The diplomatic Indian chief
Cassinga/E/Indians/The intimidating Indian shaman
Tokeleth/F/Indians/The chief's headstrong daughter

Don Inigo de Velez y Contrera/M/Others/The aristocratic and condescending Spanish nobleman
Salamanca/E/Others/The Don's cynical and easily amused valet
Bill Pistol/M/Others/Marooned former pirate, now mad as a brush

We have an extended blurb for the game "A Feast of Crows" (Sunday afternoon):

Quote:
What would you do in a world where organ cloning was legal, and even encouraged? Where you can drink as much as you want and just get a new liver when you needed it? Where there is no risk of organ rejection, as they are all grown from your very own DNA?

You can live longer, take more risks and live life on the edge. In such a world FASHION takes over, and the pursuit of beauty becomes the norm.

Provoke Fashion has recently purchased the luxury yacht "The Crows Nest" and is about to take a cruise through the Pacific looking for that perfect shot for their new advertisement.

The subject of this advertisement campaign is yet to be announced but the fashion industry is waiting for this middle-weight company to once again spring board further into the playing field.

So come and see what Provoke has in store for you...

The game is an experimental modern-fantasy. All roles bar two are gender neutral.

More Games!

Friday Night: Communing in Darkness - It's the 1920s and a group of socialites gather to hold a seance.

Saturday Morning: But Nobody Loses An Eye! - Be part of the horror and magic that is a four year old's birthday party. There will be cake and games and more disasters than you can shake a stick at but it's okay, at least nobody loses an eye!

Saturday Afternoon: Happy Birthday RJ - A birthday party of a very different sort. It's 1984 and RJ Harrington, the son of an oil baron, is having a birthday at his parents' ranch.

Sunday Morning: Diamond Geezers - So popular on Friday evening, that the East London gangster game is having a rerun on Sunday morning!

Sunday Afternoon: Bitter Tears at Sad Mary's Bar and Girl - A surreal and dystopic scenario based on the critically-acclaimed role-playing game Over The Edge, set on a fictional island of Al Amarja in the Mediterranean Sea. A richly written and unique roleplaying experience.

Changing Your Choices
Registrants are welcome to modify their selections based on new options. Please send through an email explaining the switch you would like to make, or submit a new Game Selection form.

Do not worry about submitting 'third choice' options - if you don't get into your first or second choice, you will be contacted by me to discuss third choices/wait lists. You only need to get in touch if you would like to amend your first or second choice
