So,

I thought I'd take the plunge and run a few sessions of the new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

This would likely take the form of a couple of committment free sessions to try things out, then having a crack at either the 'Gathering Storm' campaign or adapting 'The Thousand Thrones'.

The game would run fortnightly, with work firendly times, at my place in Wadestown, kicking off after Kapcon. We'll use Doodle to check when is the best day for everyone.

If you're interested playing please reply here or drop me a PM with your e-mail address.

Cheers

Dale

I'm interested, though possibly a bit tricky to timetable. :/

Thanks all for the interest.

I plan to start with an obligation-free intro session. But, as there has been a lot of muttering about schedules, let's see how things are looking.

I've set up a Doodle poll here:
http://www.doodle.com/qsxm62n6nep2eb37

You are asked to indicate what day you could make in a given fortnight.

The dates provided are indicative only.

I may be keen to check it out and am in Wadestown too so it may be especially convenient. I will fill in the timetable thing and see how it goes Smile

Should that be 7PM to 10PM or 7PM to 1AM? Wink

Ha, well there are so many cards, I'm sure you'll find one that says 'shut the GM up and leave', hell, there's probably even a special dice for game duration Smile .

Hi there, Is the campaign still running? If so, is there any chance I could join the party? Haven't played WFRP for well on 16 years now and I'd love to have another bash.
Me: based in Kapiti, translator, 35 years, preferably play Dwarven characters, no Elves.

Hi Damian,

In fact, I didn't get things together at the time. I was thinking of having another crack at getting this game going when 'The Gathering Storm' http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=1289is released, assuming I can put together enough people.

So, I'll be contacting people via PM, then e-mail then to see who's keen, and also available.

If you're in Kapati you might find my game a little far to travel and might want to talk to Luke instead (you could PM him through the boards) as he mentioned something about running 'The Gathering Storm' and I suspect that'd be up the coast.

I'm willing to put my hand up for this.

I have never played before, but I'll give it a shot.

I do know the Warhammer world very well however.

Just a quick question, are there busses from Wellington station to Wadestown?

Yes, the number 14 passes through Wellington Station about once every half hour, and will drop you right near Dale's house. Alternatively, Dale's place is only a 15-20 minute walk from Wellington Station.

Even better, 15-20 minutes walk is nothing, and cheaper than a bus. I am definately putting my name in.
