All character sheets now complete. Just need to finish the last of my cheat sheets and I'll finally be finished.

Remind me never to run three separate games with three separate systems again.

I limit myself to 2 games for 2 different systems or 3 games for 1 system.

A good rule of thumb I think. Next time I think I'm going to go with a theme and a single system, like you did last year.

Don't forget that you might end up running even more in the games on demand room!

Hey, I struggle with one! Well, that is getting it prepped, if I know a system then I could run it regardless of whatever else I was doing.

Actually I found it really hilarious the amount of work I've done for this game compared to the previous one in the series. I tried to find the story I wrote for that previous one only to realize that I pretty much made it up on the spot with only a rough idea about scenes!

Yeah, it can be a killer! Especially if each game session has players who are completely unfamiliar with the system. I usually try and run a cut-down version of the system, but of course doing that, and making handouts/props etc. so that every player can check the system at a glance takes more time than I'm happy with. Hat's off for the dedication.

I'm happy to be only using one system this year Smile And even then I've done away with traditional character sheets and the need to record anything. Roll on counters and miniature cthulhu statues!

BTW at my second playtest last night I was hearing very good things about all of Sophie's games and Liam's Black Cat. Both are on my list of games I want to play this weekend!

I have been wondering if WFRP3e's core system + dice may be useable for a generic Con rules set. The triple axis and the ability to award dice seem like an accessible mechanic.

Just finished fixing The Cold Shore in light of last night's playtest. I think it'll work now. Now to poke at Against the Night...
