After reading through the Call of Cthulhu source book I've decided to put the question out there. Who would you back to actually defeat Cthulhu?
Remembering that he eats d3 adventures each round and when reduced to 0 hit points he just reforms in 1D10+10 minutes.

So to get things started I'm going to suggest Kirk as a worthy opponent. His horde of redshirts will keep him safe from being eaten and after all he did manage to defeat God.

Chuck Norris.

I mean, I don't give a damn who wins. It's Chuck Norris. Against Cthulhu.

No, Chuck Norris would take pity on the poor kitten, find the name, phone number and address of the bastard who made the kitten blind and three-legged, phone up, and tell him "three seconds".

The bastard would be like "three seconds 'til what?"

And that's when Chuck Norris would deliver a roundhouse kick to the bastard's head.

Over. The. Phone. Line.

Conversely, all that ends must, at some point, begin.

To bring this slightly back on topic.....

Defeat Cthulhu huh? The epitome of dark magic. I'd have to say Harry Potter. It might take three million pages, but 'arry can defeat anything. (with everyone else's help of course)

I think you'll find Choo-Choo bear is more likely a shoggoth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoggoth).

He/She/It/They may have taken the form of the great old one (Ai Ai Cthulhu Ftaghn!) but they are not he who is waiting, resting in the great city of R'lyeh, until the stars align correctly, although Shane Cortese acting as host of the dancing show is a good sign that the time is not far off.
