Oh shit, do people have to give speeches?

The Father of the Groom doesn't, traditionally. I wouldn't worry. Smile

As Justin, I'm happy to organise anyone who wants to say a few short words, but nobody should feel pressured to - just let me know before we get started. Ellen/Kara and I will both give a (very) short speech, although in traditional best-man fashion, I haven't got around to writing it yet Embarassed

Billy if you are bringing water pistols, I want a go too Very Happy

Also if I do get sprayed by the above mentioned water pistols Im going to be more than annoyed.

Of course *Cheeky smile*

Water pistols are only for those who have forgotten how to laugh. Perhaps we can both give Jack a bit of a soaking?

So, which supervillain with a weather-controlmachine did you offend?

The name is Thunderbird. It seems appropriate. Smile

Welcome to the wonderful world of LARPing.

I had a fantastic time last night- thanks Jenni and Paul for organising, and everyone I had scenes with. Favourite things included Captain Jean the Drunken Sky-Pirate ("I think there'sh shome brandy in the cake, but it seemsh to be afffffectin' everyone elsh...AH'M fine...."), THAT Viking outfit, a certain knight going on about how he liked swinging his weapon around, Randy-pant's casting of a spell on Ants (oooglly boogly boogly!) and the very touching emotional scene with the bride after she found out what I'd been keeping from her. There was hugging! And sobbing!

Thanks to everyone for a truly memorable wedding reception - I hope no actual grooms have to deal with even a fraction of that chaos. The entire wedding party were a bedrock of support; my gratitude to Dale, Ellen, Evie, Karen and Malcolm. And of course my wonderful bride Sam.

I will add my thanks to Paul and Jenni, a fantastic job guys.

And finally, damn you Coyote!

Glad you liked it Very Happy

I had a great time! It was so much fun playing a hidden villain! The big reveal was great fun too, and the almost-death scene! Thank you both, Jenni and Paul!
