Just on the off chance someone is looking...I have a size 6-8-10 Butterick dress pattern for a Regency era dress. You can see it here:
http://butterick.mccall.com/b6630-products-1076.php?page_id=385

It hasn't been used, the pattern pieces have never even been opened, the sizing is just too small for me. If anyone would like it, please let me know before I list it on Trade Me Smile

Yeah, I've found TradeMe sizing iffy at times.

Anyone after some medieval style shows, BTW?

And there's now a buy-now on the red for only $22. Anyone want it?

I've just emailed out all the character sheets. So let me know if you're expecting one and it doesn't arrive.

BTW, so far we don't have any volunteers for performing at this soiree. If anyone would like a chance to display their accomplishments let me know.

Um! I am very excited about my character sheet. I shall look around for suitable poetry on the weekend and possibly consider maybe performing.

Or how would one go about tracking down a song from the period?

I think so long as it's not obviously out of place that should be fine

I can assure you that no one by the name of Lady GaGa would be invited to Albion Hall.

I believe I have selected a suitable hymn to sing. Provided, of course, that my voice doesn't fail on the evening. In which case I would be happy to read a poem if it that suits the hostess?

Oh, how lovely. A hymn. We shall of course hope that your voice does what it can to ensure our evening is entertaining. A poem would be equally enjoyable.

Mother, I was hoping to entertain the company with a poem. I thought I might select one from the circulating library?

If you feel that your recital of the poem would be entertaining to our guests, then I shall certainly find something appropriate.
