Only a week and a half to go. Discuss!

I need to work out my costume for first round - Dead Man's Chest. That's where I'm at.

I'm personally hoping my beard and sideburns grow enough for a cool 70s cut sometime Sunday morning (for my 70s cop action/drama game). That's where I'm at...

I'm just angsting that the only thing I've finally got solid inspiration to run could not possibly be prepared in time for the con. Since I've got high hopes for it, I'm also not prepared to rush it and put something half-assed together.

I will however work on it since inspiration has finally hit, so that I'll be involved in running two games at next year's con.

As far as running old entries go, I'm not too fond of the idea but there's the slight possibilty that if other people express an interest to see them happen then I might get one of them prepared.

Also, so much in the way of costuming to prepare!

I'm running The Black Cat again but in the last session and only because it was popular last time. I'm also running a sequal so if anyone likes that they can go back and do Black Cat as well.

I guess running Chaos in Rome is a little bit of a repeat because I ran it at Confusion but oh well I like it as a game.

You could always follow Sophie's lead and stick up a list of your past games, and see which one people show enthusiasm for.

KapCon has grown over the years, and had a lot of churn, so there's plenty of scope to re-run games you enjoyed the first time for a new audiance.

We were discussing it the other day, and it occured to me that I could easily re-run games like Archmage's Crown or Golden Pegasus or Crowded Hour in round one next year. While they've had a good go, the high churn means that not there will be an audiance who has not played them.

There's also the option of running SDC entries. They now cover a big enough range of stuff that you're bound to find something you can run.

A great idea for the uninspired.

Totally agree and something the SDC was designed for.

As usual I'm ahead of the curve, it's been my plan since last Kapcon to pick some of my favourite games and run a "Best of" next year. After all, there'll be more than enough new people who don't know any better and it's not at all a way of diguising that I've run out of new ideas.

Assuming I can get onto the website to put it up, I'll be running Matt Cowens "To Live and Die in Japan". I played it the year that he entered it, and really enjoyed it.

Cheers
