I am bringing a couple of things to kapcon that I will not be using the whole time that people may want to borrow. I thought it might be nice to offer to people if they can see a use.

- Poker set including chips and cards.

- Nerf gun - only using in 2nd round

- beads -the little glass ones for markers

if anyone is interested sing out.

Maybe you have something else to offer?

I'll be bringing some clothes that might be of interest to LARPing types, they'll be for sale (at very reasonable prices!) on the 2nd hand table but also available to be borrowed over the weekend.

I'd be looking to borrow or buy some pre-painted Drow miniatures if anyone has any to spare.

I've got a bunch of these that I can lend you for the con, just need to get them back to me at the end.

Paul, can I use those beads for my game in the final round?

Does anyone know where I can get little stands for cards? I have folded character sheets on card with pics on one side and stats on the other that I wanted to stand up in front of players so little stands like you would do for standing up cardboard pieces to slot cards into would be ideal.

Or you get get little allicator clips and stand them on that, depending on the stiffness of the card.

My current solution is using bent paper clips. It works but not very pretty!

I'm not sure where they are available, but you can get triangle shaped plastic hollow "rod" that is split on one side.

They are used for clipping paper posters into, and then you can hang them with string.

You could cut them into the right lengths and clip the card into them.

I wonder if Stationery Warehouse might have something like that. Or not. Not sure if they are available here in NZ.

Another way would be to make the cards in such a way that they can be folded into a triangle shape with a base to stand on. Then tape or a paper clip might be enough to make it work.

Thinking about it the best thing would probably be those Perspex menu holders that have drink advertisements on pub/restaurant tables etc slipped into them. Anyone know where I might find some of them?

Warehouse Stationery has some display things like that - the ones I remember seeing were more the sort that might be on a reception desk with info sheets/pamphlets in, but I wasn't paying much attention to those shelves so who knows what else they may have had.

I founds some photo frames that will do the job at Warehouse Stationary! Thanks for the offers and suggestions.
