Kapcon was brilliant, one of the most enjoyable for me so far. Kudos to the GMs of the games I played in, they were great fun. Thanks to all the amazing people who played in my game, some of whom I'd never met before, for doing so much with so little and doing it so well.
See you all next year!

I'd like add my voice and say that "So Cold in Alaska" was my favourite game of the con.

This was my third Kapcon and I had a wonderful time. I'm really enjoy meeting and gaming with new Wellington folk every year, and the feeling that every year I turn up, I recognise that many more faces in the crowd. Thank you to everyone that made me and my friends in the Auckland Posse feel so welcome - Jackie for hosting me (+ Tigger + my sister Judit), Dan for driving us home from the larp after Jackie's car broke down, and back to the con on Sunday morning, Bryn and Scott for various other lifts. A huge thanks to all the people who organised the convention and worked as staff for it, I know it's a big job and it takes up a lot of time and effort to make something happen on that scale, and it's awesome that you guys do it.

Thank you to all my GMs, all 16 fine roleplayers that elected to play Dead Man's Chest in first round, and to everyone I played with over the weekend. And I am humbled and chuffed to have won Best Costume. Makes all the 3am sewing worthwhile.

Kapcon has rapidly become one of the highlights of my year, and I can't wait till next time. Thank you, Wellington gamers Smile

I had an awesome con, thanks to everyone involved (the players of my 3rd round game, the people I played with in the other rounds, and the GMs for their fantastic work. And the organizers for making the entire thing possible.

I ought to say more in a day or two, when I've had some sleep.

I only got in one game this weekend, a Dresden Files game called 'The Hunted' run by Scott Favre. This was his first time at Kapcon and he did a magnificent job, it was enormous fun. I can't wait to see what he offers next year. Thanks to my fellow players Ihaia, Kelly, Paul, and Rose as well.

I should also thank Catherine and Cameron for taking those clothes, although I'll kind of miss the horrible old coat I wore to play Chisels, but my wardrobe is no longer overflowing.

An excellent game! It felt real and it was enjoyable trying to 'solve' the crime in a rational manner as characters even though we as players knew it wasn't going to be that simple Smile

Thanks to everyone who played my game (in the playtesting stage and at the con) for making it such an incredible (and horrific) experience! I have learnt more from writing and playing Alaska than any game I've ever been involved in!

And thank you all for saying such nice things and rating me so high that I got a prize Embarassed I'm glad you all got something out of it too!
