You may recall that previously on this forum there was talk of a convention where we played all sorts of games that are not D&D but are set in a D&D world. Like Best friends where they're a party of adventurers, or dungeon crawl fiasco, etc.
Well, I reckon this should happen, and I'm willing to kind of sort of organise it. I was thinking about hiring a bach around the Paraparaumu/Waikanae area in summer, maybe mid February-ish
would people be keen to come and stay there or nearby and partake in some non-D&D good times? Bryn and I may already be writing a low key, tavern based LARP for the Saturday evening... _________________ read more of my daring adventures at http://jennitalula.wordpress.com/ |

Sounds good. I'm in.
Oh, and a place you should consider renting is The Sandcastle, in Waikanae
The Sandcastle
I've stayed there. It really does have a 'castle' vibe, and it'd be perfect for having multiple games going on.[/url] _________________ Cheers,

Sadly the sandcastle has been sold and is no longer rentable. I've found a couple of options though... _________________ read more of my daring adventures at http://jennitalula.wordpress.com/ |

Hey Jenni,
Would this be a LARP situation or paper-pencil RPG, or both? |

I was thinking mostly pencil and paper with the "flagship" tavern larp on Saturday night. No reason there can't be more larp though, if that's your thing _________________ read more of my daring adventures at http://jennitalula.wordpress.com/ |
