Well, Google ads are up and running on NZRaG now - So if you see something you're even vaguely interested in, feel free to click on it - open it in a new tab even ![]()
Better yet, if you haven't installed the Firefox web browser yet, or you're running an out of date version of it, go to the front page and install it from the button under the news page - that will *really* help out ![]()
Anyway, I've tried to keep the ads unobtrusive yet still prominent - so hopefully they won't interfere with anyone's enjoyment
Well, it's been a little crazy lately at work - our CEO has resigned, so the excrement has well and truly hit the extractor, work-wise.
On the plus side, I found time to make RSS syndication work for the forums!! You should notice the little live bookmark icon popping up in Firefox (and Internet Exploder 7, when it comes out properly), which is all good. Of course, it's even better if you use a proper RSS aggregator, of which FeedReader is a pretty good (and free) example...
With a proper aggregator, you should be able to not only see what new posts have come in, but also read them in their entirety. Handy!
There really hasn't been much demand for the blogs - never mind!
They will remain available. I imagine as more people get to NZRaG and get used to seeing more and more services offered up to the roleplaying community they will eventually make use of the blog facility ![]()
It's really straightforward to blog! Just though I'd point that out.
You can register yourself an account under "Misc" on the right hand side of this blog - that's where you'll log in, too. Probably not worth bothering unless you actually plan on having a blog with us. Once you have an account, let me know (william@nzrag.com or wbryson@gmail.com) and I can set up your blog - then you can edit it to your hearts content!
If you didn't believe us on the front page, we are really moving. The blogging system we've just put online allows each game to have its own blog, with categories for journal / planning / whatever.
This stuff is really cool.
This blog covers developments on the site, and in-depth news that isn't covered by the normal news system.
