League of Extraordinary Gentle Gamers 2 : too big to fail

Formed in the late 1980s they are a secret organisation allowing stars to game amongst their own people. The Gm has been running a game for the last 2 years on the biweekly Tuesday game in Hollywood.

The sun has gone down on this fateful Thursday night , the GM is late and the party assembles in a underground gaming grotto for the last session of the campaig after a few missed games. The players are coming together for the final battle against the Evil Dragon king and his goblin horde.

Unfortunately the players have become a little.... disfunctional.

Hi all,

Just a note to say that I've withdrawn the Stormbringer game from Con-fusion, as it is very unlikely Emma & I will now be attending.

If anyone is ever up for a session of mindless fantasy violence in the world of Mike Moorcock's Elric, feel free to give me a shout and I'm sure I could arrange something!

Cheers!

I am considering running Descent Second Edition (a board game) in round two if there is interest. Blurbs and board games don't normally mixed but here is one anyway :)

Name: Assault on Castle Daerion
GM: Luke Walker
System: Descent: Journeys in the Dark - Second Edition
Players: 4
Style: Dungeon Crawling Board Game
Blurb: In an effort to stop the Overlord, you arrive in Daerintown to seek aid from Sir Palamon. As night begins to fall, you hear a strangled cry for help from the town ahead - the Overlord's minions are already here! The town is under a stealthy assault; the castle must be next. A fleeing villager pleads for you to light the village' beacons to alert Castle Daerion to the danger. If done, the nighttime raid will be foiled and the castle warned. However, should the forces of the Overlord dispatch the villagers who remain, they will surely march straight to the castle and you will be too late to stop them...

Horrorscopes (because I thought it'd be fun to write an Indie game ;) )

What would happen if fate really was written in the stars? If your career choices, friends, enemies, lovers were determined by the month of your birth? If the success or failure of all your endeavours was preordained by the alignments of the planets?

Horrorscopes is a player-driven game where we generate a scenario from random headlines, create characters based on astrology, and narrate the outcomes of actions and conflicts by interpreting horoscopes from newspapers. Only the stars know what will happen, and they may have it in for you!

Thanks Ellen, Scott, Paul, Nasia and everyone else who helped run ConFusion.

I had a great time playing Mash's game of The Mountain Witch meets The Departed, Karen's Horrorscopes, and then playtesting The Quiet Year.

What'd you get up to?
